Our graphic designer Jack Henry specializes in branding and design for small to mid-sized Toronto businesses.

A graduate of OCAD University’s Graphic Design program, Jack blends art with real-world business strategy. The result? Creative solutions that add value to your business.

Jack has designed for a wide range of industries including restaurants, retail stores, health care, community organizations and charities. As well as helping companies develop their brand, he creates beautiful marketing materials and signage.

With his passion for technology, much of Jack’s work involves designing for web. Even though these projects are for online, however, the focus is always on putting people first. That means making products as user-friendly as possible, as well as providing any tech training needed for your staff.

Jack started out working in-house for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada and the Ontario College of Teachers. He also worked for agencies including FleishmanHillard HighRoad. As part of OmniWorx, Jack has continued building his portfolio, working with a wide range of local organizations.

Building community through graphic design

Part of Jack’s interest in local business stems from his love of community-building in his Toronto neighbourhood.

He’s heavily involved in his Guildwood neighbourhood and was part of the team that designed the flag for the Guildwood Village Community Association. In addition, he serves on the Board of the Scarborough Bluffs Community Association. Jack also works with local grassroots groups, helping them develop their visual message.

Jack also stays connected to his community of designers, sharing knowledge and helping support design in Canada.

He’s an active Provisional Member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD), and also serves on their Communications Committee. Jack is a dedicated attendee of RGD events, continuing to build his knowledge of marketing, business and design principles.

The RGD provides certification and ongoing programs for designers. Their goal is to ensure a standard of consistent quality graphic design across Canada.

Freya

Chief Morale Officer

IMG_6791.jpeg

Fostered by our Design Studio, Freya is the CMO or Chief Morale Officer at OmniWorx.

Fostered from Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue, Freya helps all of the Principals unwind after a long day and is always giving Jack a few meows of encouragement from her perch on his lap in the studio.

Freya is a gorgeous tortoiseshell with pumpkin coloured eyes. She has a orange line straight down the middle of her face which highlights her eyes well. Freya is very affectionate once she gets to know you. Once she warms up to you, she will not let you go! She enjoys batting cat toys around the floor along with anything that happens to be on the floor, like pens. She also really enjoys cat teaser toys and will chase them around for hours. As a typical tortie, Freya can have stints of tortitude, and she knows what she wants when she wants it - although usually what she wants is some loving or food.

Although Freya enjoys her role as CMO at OmniWorx, she would love a forever home or office to call her own. If you’re interested in adopting Freya please email her at freya@omniworxinc.ca and she will send your information to Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue.
