Project Feature: Explore PKChamber Brand & Website Design.

Over the fall of 2024, OmniWorx Design worked with the Peterborough & Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce to create a new program called Explore PK Chamber. This program was designed to showcase the many small businesses that are part of communities outside the city of Peterborough. The project started off with 3 pilot towns, Lakefield, Havelock and Apsley. Nigel Broersma, Director of Business Development for the Chamber shared what it was like working with OmniWorx Design on this project.

How did you hear about our services? 

Member through the Chamber 

How long had you been looking for a service provider for this project?  

OmniWorx was our first stop thanks to our connection through the Chambers Closed Referral Program. 

Were you looking for other designers? Why did you decide to work with OmniWorx Design over other designers or firms? 

We opted to go with Jack and the Omniworx team because of a great developing relationship through their involvement in the Chamber events and our personal experiences with the team. 

What challenges were you facing and how did OmniWorx Design help you solve them? 

Jack was quick to send over a full document with step-by-step instructions in transferring domains, when we got stuck, he was just a phone call away to walk us through any problems. Any design/web issues were quickly resolved, when we wanted to change certain aspects, Jack found a way to make it happen. 

How did OmniWorx Design help bring value to your organization?

OmniWorx helped the Chamber in launching three new sites and programs, with their help we have been able to focus and help more businesses throughout the region. Through web design, wording, and much more Jack helped the Chamber to create a well-rounded site. 

What was the creative process like for you? 

Through collaboration we were apart of the project every step of the way. Input and backend knowledge from Jack allowed us to create exactly what we wanted. Omniworx made the entire process simple and easy to navigate. 

What was the reaction like to the new program from your members? 

As we have had to delay the launch of two of the three, we do not have full feedback yet, but from what we have received, the website is being well regarded! 

Do you have any advice for other small businesses or organizations looking for Graphic Design services? 

It is always great to use a local business as they are often great with customer service and more invested in the success of your business and earning your referrals. Jack was great to deal with and the team at Omniworx is fantastic when it comes to customer service! Thanks OW!
