Project Spotlight: In My Backyard Film Brand
Over the past few months we have been working with FLECK Productions to create a brand for their new documentary film, In My Backyard set to premiere September 12th 2021. In My Backyard follows the filmmaker's journey learning about urban agriculture in the City of Toronto.

We worked with the director and illustrator Shayla Duval to create a cohesive unique brand for this film including a logo and colour pallet that represented the growth and bountiful harvest that could spring up from even the most urban environments where this film takes place. We also created posters, merchandise, tickets, educational packets, social media templates as well as other collateral.
In My Backyard chronicles the director's personal journey into backyard vegetable gardening converting her entire suburban backyard into a kitchen garden. Using her personal story as a starting point, she branches out to look at the various solutions that backyard gardeners and urban growers have dreamed up and implemented in her city — Toronto, Canada. By looking at the stories of individuals that are changing their communities through local food production, it becomes evident that positive changes are being implemented creating new paradigms and possibilities within urban spaces.
